Bill Moody has a lifetime of basketball experience as a player, coach and official. Bill always maintained an approach to the game of determination and success. Bill was the first Toronto Humberside Collegiate player to wear the Bobcat uniform.
A former captain, Bill was an extremely intense player who displayed confidence at all times. Bill’s competiveness and his ability to grab loose balls gained him the respect of his fellow players. Bill could also be counted on to score important baskets that would propel the team to a needed win.
Bill’s coaching career began in 1979. During his five-year tenure, Bill led the Bobcats to a 50-and-30 GPAC record and overall record of 121-and-66. Bill was selected GPAC Coach of the Year on two occasions. Under Bill’s reign, the Bobcats were nationally ranked in four of his five years at Brandon University.
