After playing in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, Clint Haight joined the Brandon University Bobcats for the 1981-82 season and played until 1983-84. He spent the 1984-85 season with Sonthofen in Germany where he played with fellow Wall of Famer Tom Marsh.
He re-joined the Bobcats during the 1985-86 season. In his first year with the Bobcats, he set a BU team record when he scored 24 goals. In 1982-83, he was named a second-team Great Plains Athletic Conference all-star.
Following his days with the Bobcats, Clint played for the Brandon Sportsmen in the Central Amateur Senior Hockey League.
