Ted Temple, a native of Waskada, Manitoba, played three years in goal for Brandon University. A former Brandon Wheat King, Ted was a challenging, stand up goaltender with a great glove hand.
Despite a serious hand injury, Ted was a standout in net for Brandon University.
He is only one of two to have recorded a shutout in Canada West play in an 8-0 victory against Winnipeg.
Temple has had a very active record in community minor hockey, having coached for many years. Ted’s career at Brandon University was an inspiration to us all and he is a well-deserved induction into the wall of fame.
