After a successful five-year career with the Bobcats men's soccer team Edwards moves to the sidelines as an assistant coach.

Edwards is one of the program's all-time greats as he ranks among program leaders in goals scored and games played, earning Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference league MVP honours for the 2018 outdoor season.
