Jeremy Davies, a fourth-year libero, demonstrated veteran poise in leading a young up-and-coming men’s volleyball team through a ton of adversity in the first-half.
“Jeremy has been a rock for us the last few weeks,” said men’s volleyball coach Grant Wilson. “Considering the number of changes in our lineup due to injury and illness, we have had to rely on Jeremy night in and night out to come up with highlight reel digs and be the best passer on the court. He has risen to the occasion and continues to lead our team with consistent play and emotional leadership.”
The Calgary product is third in Canada West in digs per-set at 2.63 and sits sixth in the conference in total digs with 100.
The former Canada West champion and CIS national bronze medalist is also serving as co-captain of the Bobcats this season.
Davies and his Bobcats have a record of 4-and-6 and will close out their first-half this weekend when they travel to Edmonton to take on the Alberta Golden Bears.

Following their road trip, Brandon will host the Saskatchewan Huskies on January 8-9 to kick-start the second semester.
