Brandon University Athletics

Mission
For Brandon University student-athletes to network, idea share, and engage in community events, both on campus and off, to raise the profile of Brandon University Athletics and provide leadership opportunities while giving back to the community. Members of the athletic council will help guide student-athlete initiatives through sharing insights and ideas unique to the student-athlete experience. The council will also act as liaisons between all BU student-athletes and the Athletic Department.
 
The objectives of the council are as follows:

• To provide a forum for each of the BU varsity teams and athletes who participate on these teams, to express their needs, suggestions, and opinions relevant to the operation of the varsity program
• To provide a communicative link among all varsity teams
• To organize events that promote athlete involvement in the Brandon, Westman, and sporting community
