Nikala Majewskiended her varsity career in style by setting new records, breaking her own single match record and helping the Bobcats end the season with a big win.
Majewski’s stat line speaks for itself as the fifth-year captain registered double-figure kills in every match, not just in February, but all season long.
The month started in spectacular fashion as Majewski broke her own single-match school record for kills (25) February 1 after setting the new standard in the season opener.
“It’s very fitting that Nik is our final athlete of the month this season as she has been everything to our team this month,” said coach Lee Carter.
“She’s been a leader, an offensive record breaker, she’s been a giving team mate, and now she’s a celebrated senior.”
Majewski leaves the women’s volleyball program as the school’s new leader in career kills and points, which also ranks among the all-time best in Canada West history.
