After having to miss his first season as a Bobcat due to injury, Jahmaal exploded on the scene in 2021-22 and had one of best months of the season in February. The third year guard started in every game and recorded double figures in scoring in every game, both in February and all season long. His constantly improving play bumped his average to 18.1 points per game, culminating in a season-high 29 points in his playoff debut, a first round upset of the UNBC Timberwolves.
