Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Bobcats Women's Soccer Records Massive 10-0 Victory Over Cougars

The Brandon University Bobcats women's soccer team concluded their weekend homestand with a dominant 10-0 victory over the Assiniboine Cougars at the HLC field on Sunday afternoon. The win marks the Bobcats' second straight shutout and moves their impressive season record to 8-1-0.

The Bobcats' offensive unit was relentless from the opening whistle, tallying a staggering 55 shots in the match, 35 of which were on target.

First Half Blitz (6-0) The scoring began just 29 seconds into the game when Brogan Henry netted the opener, setting the tone for the half. Bien Van Berkel followed up with two quick goals (6:01, 14:43) and Keashae Masters added a pair of her own (17:24, 41:23). Deborah Meron also joined the goal scorers (37:03) to give the Bobcats a commanding 6-0 lead at the break.

Second Half Consistency (4-0) The offensive pressure continued into the second half. Laure Dizengremel scored shortly after the restart (50:50). The scoring was rounded out by defensive standout Tarin Ballan (77:00), Jorja Hoad (78:09), and Tyanne Martinez (84:40), demonstrating the depth of the team's attack.

Cougars goalkeeper Michelle Omand was incredibly busy, making 25 saves on the afternoon, while the Bobcats' goalkeeping kept a clean sheet without having to record a single save due to the team's impenetrable defense.
