Dr. Nancy Stanley's passion for education and sport run just as deep as her sport background. Nancy, a native of the Brandon area, is one of those rare breeds that involved herself in many sports and activities while at Brandon College.

As an athlete, Nancy participated for six years in six different sports. These include: Badminton (one year), Basketball (five years, four as captain), Field Hockey (two years), Soccer (one year), Track and Field (two years), and Volleyball (one year).

Nancy continued her involvement at BU as a coach and eventually Athletic Director for six years. As a coach, Nancy led Women’s Ice Hockey (four years), Volleyball (four years), Basketball (six years), and Field Hockey (seven years).

Nancy has always been a champion for women in sport. She paved the way for athletics and education in the Westman area and the impact of her work has been noticed and appreciated for decades.
Dr. Stanley currently acts a Professor in the Department of Physical Education Studies and the Director of Mini University.
