Richea came to the Bobcats from Regina, Sask. where he worked with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as both Head Athletic Therapist and Assistant Athletic Therapist. He brings almost two decades of experience at the amateur, professional and private ranks in injury treatment, prevention and rehabilitation.

Prior to joining the Roughriders he spent time working with the Calgary Flames, Calgary Vipers, Regina Pats, and the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association, as well as serving as a Medical Coordinator for Fleetwood Mac's world tour in 2013.

He's also no stranger to university sport, having spent five seasons as the University of Calgary Dinos' Head Athletic Therapist and worked as a sessional instructor at Mount Royal University.
Richea has a Master's degree in Education from the University of Washington as well as Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. He also holds a post-degree diploma in Sports Injuries Management from Sheridan College, and is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA).
