The ‘Big Viking’ gave the Bobcats’ quality over quantity in his last month as a Canada West basketball player. Magnusson hit a highlight reel three late in the third quarter on Feb. 7 as part of a thrilling road victory against the nationally ranked Winnipeg Wesmen. He also scored from distance at opportune times in the final weekend of the regular season. Magnusson and the ‘Cats won both games to clinch a conference playoff spot.
