Brandon University Athletics

Carrera Lamoureux has made quite a name for herself at Brandon University in her short time here. After transferring from Canadian Mennonite University this past summer, the 5-foot-8 guard has worked her way into the Bobcats starting line-up and is contributing in all aspects of the game.
 
For her efforts, Lamoureux has been named the Pantages on Park Salon and Spa Female Athlete of the Month for October.
 
Lamoureux has started every game for the Bobcats so far this year, both in the pre-season and conference play, leading the offense while doing so. The Winnipeg product hasn’t struggled making the jump from the MCAC (Manitoba Colleges Athletics Assocation) averaging 34 minutes per game.
