Adam Hay elevated the level of his play in the Bobcats’ indoor season, and thus lifted the team to new heights in the process.
Â
Hay’s play on defence carried the Bobcats to their best regular season futsal record and the team’s third straight Final Four appearance.
Â
In the championship semi-final, Hay scored the shoot-out winner that lifted the Bobcats to the MCAC championship final.
Â
“Adam has been a turning point in our positive results this season. He was great in the fall and in futsal had a tremendous season leading us to our best record yet,” says coach Jesse Roziere.
Â
“Adam leads by example on the court, in the classroom, and in the team room. He consistently is the voice that energizes the team and keeps them battling, while also showing his teammates how to battle and prepare. Recruiting has become a much more difficult task after having someone like Adam on your team because he is constantly finding a new level and introducing a new standard in our young team.”
