Osian Edwards started his final season as a Bobcat in spectacular style, leading the Bobcats to an undefeated 5-0-1 record and jumping to a tie for the league lead in scoring.
Edwards scored nine goals in Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) league games, but more importantly led his hometown Bobcats to first place in the league standings.
“Osian has brought a new level of focus in his fifth year in the league. He is continuing to improve and raise his level of play and focus each day, which continues to push the team to want to improve as well,” says coach Jesse Roziere.
“Osian has been a big part of the group’s early success this season, and I really look forward to what he has in store as we build towards the end of the season,” Roziere adds.
The Neelin High School graduate has nine goals in five different conference matches, including a hat trick against the number two ranked team in the conference, the St. Boniface Les Rouges on September 15.
