William Tonning came to Brandon in the start of the semester with little known about his play, but that has quickly changed.
The Slagelse, Denmark product has already earned an MCAC Athlete of the Week nod and already helped the Bobcats to an undefeated record in conference play.
Most importantly, Tonning has earned attention as one of the top keepers in the MCAC with his outstanding play and intensity so far this season.
“The level of standard he brings into the program and the quality he brings in terms of being a technical goalkeeper as well as being very good with his feet has been a very welcome addition.,” says coach Jesse Roziere.
“He gives the team a sense that we’re confident that he is going to stop the ball. He’s another keeper that, fortunately for us, we know he can help us steal and win important games.”
