Caitlin Le led the Bobcats on the defensive end all season and found a new level to her game in the month of February.
 
The Mississauga, Ont. product’s play garnered the attention of opponents as teams constantly tried to serve and hit the ball away from Le because of her amazing ability to make highlight-reel digs.
 
“Caitlin has been great for us all season long and her performance in February was no exception,” said coach Lee Carter.
 
“I truly believe she’s one of the best liberos in the country and other teams are starting to take notice. Opponents constantly tried to not hit the ball at her because she digs everything up and lifts the team up in the process. She plays with incredible passion and inspires her team mates with every touch of the ball.”
 
Le put up double-figures in digs in every match in February after setting the Canada West single-match record earlier in the season.
 
Le’s season stats saw her rank second in the Canada West conference and third in the nation in total digs (383) and second in Canada West in digs per set (4.35).
