Box Score WINNIPEG - The Bobcats women's basketball team dropped a tough Canada West road contest 78-32 to the host Winnipeg Wesmen Thursday night. The Bobcats struggled out of the gates, allowing the Wesmen to start the game on a 14-0 run. Winnipeg capitalized on the early momentum, not looking back all night.

Stephanie Haynes led the way for the Bobcats, finishing the contest one rebound shy of a double-double (10 points, 9 rebounds).

Yael Kaplan led all scorers with 19 points, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc.

The two teams will meet again Saturday night in the second half of the home and home series in what will be the first Canada West basketball game in Brandon University's brand new Healthy Living Centre.
