#2 nationally ranked UFV beat women's basketball team

Box Score BRANDON – The #2 Fraser Valley Cascades beat the host Brandon Bobcats 74-35 Friday night to remain perfect on the season so far.

Kayli Sartori was lights-out for the Cascades, putting up 27 points on 10 of 15 shooting, including 5 for 7 from the 3-point line. Sarah Wierks finished with 11 points for Fraser Valley.

Third-year guard Carrera Lamoureux had a team-high 13 points for the Bobcats.

The win keeps the Cascades record perfect at 9-0, while the Bobcats remain winless at 0-9.

Fraser Valley will travel to Regina to Saturday to play the Cougars Saturday night. Up next for the Bobcats is the second-half of their weekend homestand as they'll welcome the Trinity Western Spartans to close out the first-half of the Canada West regular season.
