Lady 'Cats try to claw their way to victory against the Cougars

Box Score BRANDON – The Brandon Bobcats welcomed the Mount Royal Cougars to BU's Healthy Living Centre Friday night to start the second half of the Canada West regular season, and the Cougars came away with a 72-51 win.

Four Cougars finished in double-digit scoring, led by fifth-year guard Emily Larson's 23 points. Jordan McLean picked up 14 points while Jordan Anstice and Hilary Annich both picked up 11 points.

The Bobcats were paced by fourth-year Chantel Gaslard who picked up a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds). Third-year guard Carrera Lamoureux finished with a team-high 13 points.

The Bobcats will welcome the UNBC Timberwolves Saturday night, while the Cougars will travel to the University of Regina.
