Box Score BRANDON, MB - The UNBC Timberwolves picked up a big road win Sunday afternoon in Brandon over the host Bobcats by a final of 77-47. The game was postponed from Saturday night after the Wolves were unable to make it to Brandon due to complications associated with travel, but that didn't slow down the 'Wolves as they stormed out of the gate, starting the game on a 22-2 run.
The Bobcats played a strong second-half, but the lead proved to be too much as the Timberwolves won comfortably.
Mercedes VanKoughnett led all scorers, finishing with 18 points to go along with eight steals and eight rebounds. Jordyn Rabbit picked up 12 points in the winning cause, and Kady Dandeneau finished the contest with 11 points.
Chantel Gaslard the Bobcats in scoring for the second night, picking up 12 points for the second contest in a row.
Up next for the Timberwolves is a home game against the Winnipeg Wesmen next Thursday, while the Bobcats will travel to Vancouver to play the UBC Thunderbirds.
