Bobcats fall to Huskies at home

Box Score BRANDON – The Saskatchewan Huskies continued their hot streak by picking up a 60-34 road win against the Brandon Bobcats Saturday night. With the win, Saskatchewan extends its winning streak to six games, moving the Huskies one step closer to the Canada West playoffs.

For the second consecutive night, second-year forward Dalyce Emerson led all scorers with 20 points, who also finished with 10 rebounds. Kelsey Trulsrud also earned a double-double (12 points, 13 rebounds), while Kabree Howard picked up 10 points.

The Bobcats were led by fourth-year forward Chantel Gaslard who finished the contest with a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds).

The win improves Saskatchewan's record to 11-6 while the Bobcats remain winless at 0-16.

Up next for the Bobcats is a weekend road-trip to Lethbridge to play the Pronghorns. Saskatchewan will welcome the Winnipeg Wesmen.
