BRANDON – The Bobcats and visiting Pronghorns battled for the second straight night Saturday, and it was the Pronghorns who came away with a 72-53 victory.
For the second night in a row, the Bobcats kept the game close in the first quarter, but were outmatched in the second as the Pronghorns outscored the 'Cats 23-6.
Brandon outscored Lethbridge in the second half, but it was too little too late.
Alyssa Montgomery notched 13 points, three rebounds, and a steal for the 'Cats.
Kylee Howard earned 12 points and a steal in her second game as a Bobcat.
Mariah Miller led the way for the 'Horns notching 23 points and six boards.
Kim Veldman added 16 points and six rebounds.
The Bobcats fall to 0-2 while the Pronghorns sit at 2-0.
Next weekend, the Bobcats travel to Calgary to take on the Dinos. That same weekend the Pronghorns will face off against the Wesmen at home.
