REGINA - The Brandon University women's volleyball team rolled up their sleeves and earned a hard fought come from behind road victory against the Regina Cougars on Friday night.

The Bobcats rallied from a two-nothing deficit to defeat the Cougars in five sets with BU rookie
Katie Reeves completing the comeback with a service ace for the final point of the marathon match.

The set scores were 22-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-21 and 15-13.

Reeves recorded four aces in total, while adding seven digs and four kills as Brandon improved their record to 2-and-3.

Jodie Baker led the way with 12 kills for BU, while teammate
Breanne Sytnyk added nine kills and four blocks.

Mary Thomson had 22 assists and a match-high 15 digs for the Bobcats, who can get to the .500 mark by completing the weekend sweep Saturday night.

Ashlee Sandiford scored a match-high 13 kills for Regina, who saw their record slip to 0-and-7.
