VICTORIA – The visiting Bobcats fell 86-59 on Friday night against the Victoria Vikes in Canada West men's basketball action.

Anthony Tsegakele posted another double-double with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds as BU's record slipped to 1-6. Tsegakele's 23 point performance was also a career-high for the rookie standout from Quebec.

Meanwhile, Dom Oliveri grabbed seven of his game-high 15 boards in the first quarter for Victoria, while teammates Matthew Ellis and Diego Maffia scored 15 points each as the Vikes improved to 3-2.

Victoria's Scott Kellum hit a momentum building buzzer beater just before the break as the Vikes led 41-28 heading into halftime.
Brandon lost the rebound battle against Victoria by a 65-38 margin.
The Bobcats and Vikes meet in the rematch on Saturday.
