The Brandon University Bobcats women's soccer team delivered an overwhelming performance on Saturday, October 4th, routing the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers 7-0 in a massive offensive showcase at the HLC field.
The Bobcats' attack was relentless, recording 38 shots in the match and completely dominating possession. The scoring started early and never stopped, highlighted by a hat trick from Brogan Henry.
First Half Explosion (3-0) The Bobcats took control quickly. Jorja Hoad opened the scoring (10:32), followed by goals from Payton Burton (34:46) and Deborah Meron (38:12), assisted by Henry. The defense was impeccable, limiting the Blazers to just one shot in the entire game.
Second Half Domination (4-0) The floodgates opened further in the second half. Brogan Henry took over, scoring three goals (46:53, 74:46, 85:56) to secure her hat trick. Bien Van Berkel also found the back of the net (69:48). The combined efforts of goalkeepers Josie Black (1st half) and Allison Beaumont (2nd half) secured the powerful shutout victory.
The decisive win improves the women's team's impressive record to 7-1 on the season.
