BRANDON, MB - The Brandon University Bobcat Women's Rugby club is trading the pitch for the pavement this winter to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY). The team is stepping up to raise awareness and critical funds for local charities that support individuals experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in the community.
Known for their fierce dedication and teamwork on the field, these student-athletes are channeling that same energy into making a tangible impact during the freezing winter months. By participating in CNOY, the team aims to bring the community together to support vulnerable populations when they need it most.
Community members are encouraged to support the team's efforts. Whether it is by making a monetary donation, bundling up to walk alongside the athletes, or volunteering time, every contribution directly benefits local charities providing safe, warm places and essential services to those in need.
