CAT FACTS:
Popplestone is a graduate of Brandon's Neelin High School. Transfered to Brandon University in 2010 after playing two seasons with the Medicine Hat College Rattlers.
Spends his summers playing baseball with the Brandon Cloverleafs, where he won a Manitoba Senior Baseball League championship with the 'Leafs in the summer of 2012.
Father Ron is also a former Bobcat, having played hockey for the Bobcats in the early 1980's. Sister Laura was a red-shirt with the Bobcats women's volleyball team in the 2011-12 season.
