FITNESS AND WELLNESS CLASSES
Tykes Floorball League (Born 2012-2013)
Floorball is a fast and exciting game that promotes end-to-end plays with quick transitions and fluid game play. The rules stress the importance of safety and sportsmanship and are designed to limit the chance of injury without decreasing the speed or skill of the game. We will play a modified version of regular floorball, with goalie equipment and full size nets. Games will be four-on-four with a maximum of 8 players per team. There will be one 60 min game each week, and the league will run for 8 weeks. Each player will need his or her own floorball stick, goggles, and mouth guard. Each player will receive a league team coloured t-shirt, a ticket to a Bobcat game, and be invited to the league wind-up to be hosted at a Bobcat Game. The league will be maxed out at 64 players.
Each player will receive equal playing time, and score will be kept for each game. Each team will play each other at least once, and teams will be randomly selected. Please do not request to be on certain teams. If you have any questions, please contact
Gil Cheung.
