Chad has been part of the Bobcat coaching staff since 2015. Moyer holds his level 2 Certified Advance Development coaching certification and has helped the Bobcats to a number of achievements including the 2019 Canada West conference championship and going on to a silver medal at the USports nationals.
With 12 years of coaching experience across various age groups from 13U to 17U, Chad is a dedicated role model in the BVC program. He has also made a mark at the provincial level, coaching Team Manitoba at the 15/16U level in 2022, and leading the 16U B Gold team to a national championship gold medal in 2023. The following year, he secured a provincial championship with the 17U Mens Brandon Volleyball Club and guided the 15U Westman team to a bronze medal at the Manitoba Games in 2024.
Chad's commitment to developing young athletes is evident in his 8 years as a Physical Education teacher in the Brandon School Division, where he also coaches middle years sports and serves as a commissioner for BSD Athletics. Outside of teaching, he dedicates much of his time to giving back to the community and promoting volleyball in Western Manitoba and beyond.
