Biography
One of the most decorated students in terms of academic pursuit – the winner of multiple awards, bursaries and scholarships as he maintained a perfect grade point average through-out the four years of undergraduate studies.
On top of his academic success, Seth is no stranger to success on the court either. He is a two-time Canada West 2nd team all-star (2018, 2019), the Canada West Student-Athlete Community, as well as a U SPORTS Nationals Tournament All-Star
Following his outstanding conference season in 2019, Friesen represented Canada on the international stage as a member of the FISU World University Games team that competed in Italy.
Volunteer coach with the Brandon Volleyball Club.
Older brother Jared was a member of the Bobcats before Seth joined the team, but the two were teammates at Vincent Massey High School together.
