Neufeld has been coaching volleyball in various levels for over 25 years. Neufeld joined the Bobcats coaching staff in 2005. Neufeld’s credentials include a national title after leading team Manitoba to a gold medal at the 2009 Canada Games, a gold medal from the 2006 U-21 Junior National Championships, and the NTCC U-18 title in 2007.

Neufeld is a teacher at Neelin High School in Brandon, where he led the senior girls varsity volleyball team to the school's first AAAA Manitoba Provincial title.
