Mackenzie Boyes started every game but one so far this season, registering the Bobcats’ first goal of the season and hasn’t looked back since. Boyes scored twice more in September but more importantly set up countless other quality opportunities. It’s not only her offensive presence and ability to create attacks, but her vision and timing as a defensive midfielder have set her apart as well. Her ability to control the game and put pressure on opposition is well beyond her years. Boyes scored the lone goal in last year’s league final to book a spot at nationals and the sky is the limit for this second year star as she looks to lead the team to a return trip this year.
