The all-star goalkeeper was instrumental in the Brandon University men's soccer team finishing in first-place in the standings in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference. Souza and his crew won five straight regular season games in October with the Brazilian standout getting clean sheets in three of those contests. Souza and the nationally ranked Bobcats earned the right to host the league championship at HLC Field. His Bobcats blanked the Providence Pilots 2-0 in the semifinals before a heartbreaking extra time loss against the CMU Blazers in the title game.
