Garrett Popplestone had an outstanding pre-season, and started the regular season with a bang earning Moores Male Athlete of the Month honours for October.
 
The Brandon product played some of the best volleyball of his career in October, highlighted by two big wins over Regina to start the season. To open the season on October 26, Popplestone spread the offense masterfully across the floor, picking up 37 assists in a 3-0 win. The Neelin High School grad then followed it up the next night with a 18 assist and six dig performance that improved the Bobcats to 2-0 on the season.
 
Up next for Popplestone and the rest of the Bobcats is a tough home stand against the Manitoba Bisons. First serve Friday is scheduled for 6:45 pm.
