Brady Nault had the unenviable task of filling the starting libero position left by BU grad and World University Games participant Jeremy Davies. 
 
Last month, Nault flourished in the role and led the Bobcats to a 3-and-1 record. He was sound defensively in BU's home opening sweep of the Saskatchewan Huskies. He recorded a match-high eight digs in a straight sets win and added 14 digs in a four-set victory.
 
"Brady had a tremendous start to the season. We felt Brady was going to step into that role and we feel defensively and serve-receive wise that he has been extremely solid," said coach Grant Wilson. "He was our rock to lean on when matches were not going our way and he is going to be a huge part of our success moving forward."
 
The fourth-year Winnipeg product is among the conference leaders in digs and digs per-set and has helped guide the Bobcats to a 6-and-2 start.
