Ashley Seekings stepped into a new role with the Bobcats soccer team this year and flourished, scoring critical goals and providing a steady attack on offence.
 
Seekings and the Bobcats qualified for Final Four again this season, keeping the active playoff streak alive for the women's soccer team. The team has now qualified for Final Four in every year the team has been competing in the MCAC.
 
The Vincent Massey grad's play was a large reason for the team's successful season.
 
"We really challenged Ashley to become a more versatile striker this year and she accepted that challenge and became more of a complete player," says coach Scott Haddow.
 
"She was used to using her speed and chasing the ball, but now her ability to run and distribute the ball have made her hard to defend because she's unpredictable. It's great to see because that has made her tougher to play against and in turn helped our team."
 
The team now enjoys an extended break before picking up competition again in the indoor season when the Futsal season gets underway in early January.
