Jaleel Webb got better and better for the Bobcats as the month of January moved along, culminating in one of his best games in Brandon University blue and gold.
 
The Montreal product averaged 18 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in January before putting up a career high 28 points in a crucial win over Trinity Western.
 
Webb ended the game on a dunk before being subbed off in the final minutes of his last home game as a Bobcat.
 
Webb played all 38 minutes of the game until he was greeted by coaches and team mates after securing the win.
 
“Jaleel has been so valuable for us on both ends of the court all season. His leadership goes far beyond what shows up on the stat sheet each weekend,” says coach Gil Cheung.
 
“Jaleel had a great senior weekend here, and we hope we can keep the 
season going for a few more weeks.”
 
Webb put up double figure points in all but one game in January as well as registering single-game career highs in minutes, rebounds and assists. 
 
Webb is hoping to help the Bobcats reach another level in the final conference games this weekend, as the team travels to Winnipeg to play Manitoba. If the Bobcats win one of the two games this weekend they will secure the final Canada West playoff spot.
