Box Score CALGARY - The #6 Brandon Bobcats lived up to their ranking on Thursday, defeating the Mount Royal Cougars in four sets at Kenyon Court by scores of 25-19, 25-20, 19-25 and 25-22.

The Bobcats improved to 5-2, while the Cougars, who entered the night with a two-match winning streak, drop to 4-3.

The teams play again Friday night at approximately 7:30 p.m., following a women's match between the two schools, which starts at 6 p.m.

Brandon's Sam Tuivai had a big night with 19 kills and 11 digs. Dan Boutwell contributed 12 kills and Rob McLean finished with five kills, three services aces and 10 digs.

For the Cougars, Jordan Parkin's 17 kills and nine digs led the way. Coltan deMan had 14 kills and five digs.
