BRANDON, MB – Summer might just be getting started, but the Brandon University Bobcats are already gearing up for an electric return to the court this fall. Canada West has officially released the 2026-27 volleyball schedule, and fans can look forward to a thrilling lineup of matchups right here in Brandon.
The Bobcats will host five exciting double-headers on home court this season.
The action kicks off just in time for Halloween, as the Bobcats welcome the MacEwan Griffins for the home opener on October 30 and 31. The momentum continues in November with back-to-back marquee matchups. The UBC Thunderbirds visit on November 13 and 14, followed by a clash with the Thompson Rivers (TRU) WolfPack on November 27 and 28 to close out the fall semester's home slate.
After the winter break, the squad returns to the court to ring in the new year with a highly anticipated provincial rivalry weekend against the Winnipeg Wesmen on January 29 and 30. The regular-season home schedule will then wrap up on February 12 and 13 when the Saskatchewan Huskies come to town.

While the home schedule is packed with must-see action, the Bobcats will officially launch their 2026-27 Canada West campaign on the road.
The Bobcats open their regular season in Kelowna on October 23 and 24 for a season-opening clash against the UBCO Heat. Following their home opener, the team hits the road again in November, heading to Calgary to battle the Mount Royal University Cougars on November 20 and 21.
The second half of the season starts with a heavy travel schedule in January, featuring back-to-back road weekends. First, the Bobcats will head to Winnipeg for a provincial showdown with the Manitoba Bisons on January 15 and 16. The following weekend, January 22 and 23, the Men's team travels further west to take on the Calgary Dinos while the Women's team has a bye.
The final road trip with both teams travelling together of the regular season will see Brandon fly out to British Columbia on February 5 and 6 for a late-season battle against the UFV Cascades, setting the stage for their final home series and the push toward the Canada West playoffs. The Women's team will finish the season on the road against the Regina Cougars.
