Women's basketball team struggles against Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Huskies improved their winning streak to four games thanks to a 86-48 win over the Brandon Bobcats Friday night in Brandon.
Five Huskies finished in double-digit scoring, led by sophomore forward Dalyce Emerson's game-high 21 points. Kelsey Trulsrud had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Kabree Howard finished with 14 points, Jordyn Halvorson put up 13 points and Desarae Hogberg notched 10 points.
Carrera Lamoureux had a team-high 15 points, while Jaynell Gillett pulled down 10 rebounds.
Saskatchewan now sits with a record of 9-6 in conference play, while Brandon remains winless on the season at 0-15.
The two teams will meet again in the second half of the weekend series Saturday night in Brandon.
