BOBCATS BASKETBALL ACADEMY

Are you ready to elevate your game and experience the thrill of live competition? The Brandon University Bobcats are calling all youth hoopers in grades 5-8 to hit the court for the Fall 2026 Bobcat Basketball Academy!

Designed for athletes who want to build their foundation while feeling the rush of real gameplay, the Academy provides an enthusiastic, high-energy environment right inside the Healthy Living Centre.

The Game-Day Experience

We are flipping the traditional practice model on its head to maximize both growth and fun. Every Sunday, athletes will jump into a fast-paced, one-hour session that perfectly balances training and competition:

• 15 Minutes of Elite Skill Development: Sharpen your fundamentals, footwork, and shooting mechanics.

• 45 Minutes of Live Game Action: Put those fresh skills to the test immediately! We bring the full game-day atmosphere with a running score, official referees, and tracked stats.

Learn From the Best

Participants will be grouped by grade to ensure fair and competitive play. Every athlete will receive hands-on instruction and mentorship directly from U SPORTS coaches, current U SPORTS Bobcat athletes, and nationally certified coaches. It is a rare opportunity to learn the game from those who play and coach it at the highest university level.

Camp Details at a Glance

• Who: Boys and girls in Grades 5-8 (Co-ed)

• When: Sundays, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (September 20 – November 1, 2026)

  • 7 total sessions

• Where: Henry Champ Gym & HLC North Gym (Inside the Healthy Living Centre)

• Cost: $95.00

• What to Bring: Proper gym attire, clean indoor running shoes, and a refillable water bottle.
