CALGARY - The Brandon University men's volleyball team closed out their weekend road series with a straight sets loss against the third-ranked Calgary Dinos on Saturday night.

Set scores were 25-23, 25-23 and 26-24.
Brandon was in good shape to extend the match with leads of 16-10 and 20-17 in the third set, but they eventually fell in extra points.

Roy Ching had a match-high 14 kills for the Bobcats, while BU sophomore
Bruce Akubukaka was next with eight kills.
James Weir topped the match with five blocks for Brandon, while teammates
David Stasica added 24 assists and seven digs and
Jeremy Davies recorded 10 digs.

Calgary got 10 kills and seven digs from Keith West and improved their conference leading record to a perfect 4-and-0, while Brandon slipped to 1-and-3.

The Bobcats have a bye week coming up, before continuing their campaign in Regina against the Cougars on November 6 and 7.
