CALGARY - The Brandon University women's volleyball team picked up a four-set road victory over the eighth-ranked Calgary Dinos on Friday night for their first win of the Canada West season.

Set scores were 25-23, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-23.

Shanlee McLennan had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs for the Bobcats, who upped their record to 1-and-2.

Regan Dahl and
Breanne Sytnyk scored 12 kills each, while
Jodie Baker also added to a balanced Bobcats' offence with 10 kills. Â

Mary Thomson had 45 assists and
Donata Huebert had 16 digs for Brandon, both were match highs.

The Bobcats will look to get to the .500 mark when they take on the Dinos on Saturday to close out the weekend double-header in Calgary.
