Sara Grona, HLC facility coordinator. "Many people find that autumn is a great time to start new healthy habits and get into a positive routine."
"This is a perfect time to try out the HLC.The walking track is popular for people of all fitness levels because it is low-impact and helps keep you moving, no matter what the weather," Grona said.
"We have many people come to duck out of the summer heat, or to avoid either rain or icy sidewalks. It's also very motivating to meet a few friends for a walk and talk," Grona adds.
The diverse line-up of recreation and fitness activities will build on the success that we had this past year. BU Rec now offers the most affordable fitness and wellness programs in Brandon and the surrounding area.
The great line-up of club programs and intramural activities including our badminton club which had over 60 full time members last semester and a growing pickleball club. Intramural programs include co-ed soccer, co-ed volleyball, and co-ed basketball, and HLC personal trainer Jamee George is offering a new line of fitness programs
