Futsal finals on tap for Bobcat men

The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference futsal championship runs Saturday and Sunday at Assiniboine College.

The BU men take on the top-ranked St. Boniface Les Rouges at 11am on Saturday while the other semifinal features the CMU Blazers and host Cougars at 1pm.

The winners will meet in Sunday's final at noon.

The Bobcats claimed the program's first-ever futsal crown in 2019 and followed that up with back-to-back title wins in 2022 and 2023.

Matheus Ruffini was chosen a 2025 league futsal all-star while teammate Lukas Weiss was selected to the MCAC True Sport Futsal Team.

The True Sport selection process is based on seven principles:

7. Give Back – Say thanks and show gratitude. Encourage your sport group to make a difference in the community.
