The Brandon Bobcats made history on Sunday by capturing their first women's futsal title.
 
Jorja Hoad and Ashley Robinson scored twice as BU knocked off the five-time defending league champion St. Boniface Les Rouges 6-2.



Brogan Henry was named playoff MVP for the Bobcats, who prevailed 4-1 over the host Assiniboine Cougars in Saturday's semifinal.
 
It is an outdoor/indoor sweep for Brandon after winning the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference soccer crown back in the fall.
 
On the men's side, the Bobcats were edged 7-6 in their conference semifinal game against St. Boniface on Saturday.
