BRANDON – The Bobcats will host their 14th annual Volleyball Coaching September Summit on Thursday, September 26 at the Healthy Living Centre.
The highly successful seminar provides basic technical and tactical sessions for coaches of all levels. The event will feature presentations by five different experts on various topics.
The summit's feature coach is Mike Burchuk, a a well-known figure in the national and provincial volleyball scene as the founder of the Volleyball Experience Program and a former coach of the Canadian women's Olympic volleyball team.
Other presenters include Bobcat coaches Grant Wilson, Kevin Neufeld, Dean Lowrie and Lee Carter as well as former national team player Michelle Sawatzky-Koop.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, and all participants receive a summit gift and a ticket to the Bobcats regular season home opener.
The cost of the seminar is $110.25 (includes GST) per participant. The first 25 to submit their entry fee will be entered into a draw for a Bobcat prize package.
