Biography
While Metcalf has enjoyed a stellar career as a Bobcat he excelled in all sports before committing to BU.
Metcalf participated in volleyball, basketball, hockey, golf, badminton, soccer, cross country and track & field in his grade 12 year and was named Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association athlete of the year for his efforts.
He was also the recipient of the Ed (The Eagle) Belfour Award as the most outstanding player in Manitoba high school hockey for 2014-15, amassing 88 points in 39 games.
Since joining the Bobcats he’s become the program’s all-time leader in blocks, surpassing former team mate James Weir in his final season.
Represented Canada internationally twice, as a member of the FISU Games team that competed in Taipei (2017) and Italy (2019).
