Hannah McCannell led a relatively new Bobcat curling roster at the Canada West curling championship in late February with a positive attitude and unshakable commitment. The third-year worked hard all season long in leading the Bobcats through the team’s club season and contributed strong decision-making as the most senior member of the team. McCannell’s performance at the conference championship helped the Bobcats to a tie for third place in the standings after a win over the University of Regina.
